Handmade in our Telford Shropshire workshop these tongue & groove semi-braced arched top driveway gates provide a traditional feel to your entrances, adding a smooth flat surface, charm and character as well as privacy and protection. You can expect a high-quality finish and a set of gates that will last for many years to come.

Our tongue & groove driveway gates are made from extremely durable with smooth-planed interlocking 120mm wide and 12mm thick tongue & groove boards and a sturdy 70mm x 34mm semi-bracing to ensure a lighter frame while offering a good solid structure. All parts of the gate have been treated using a tanalised pressure treatment to penetrate the wood and ensure long life and resistance to rot.

• Made to Mease Driveway Gate service provides you two gates that when placed side by side will achieve the required measurements between height from 2ft to 7ft (60cm to 210cm) x Width: from 150cm to 305cm.
• This is for a set of fully Made-to-measure driveway gates. When ordering measurements for height and total width in millimetres should be included with the order.
• Please ensure you choose the correct option that falls within your required sizes. When the required measurements do not match the selection further payment will be required before gates can be manufactured.
• When measuring for the driveway gates you should deduct 10mm on each side for the hinges and a further 10mm in the centre for the gates to close and open without catching.
• We can not be held responsible for measurements supplied incorrectly. Once the order has been passed to manufacturing the order cannot be cancelled or returned. (Normally within 6 to 12 hours from placing the order Monday to Friday)
• An approximate 15cm arch is crafted out of the top, which spans across both gates making the joining part of the two gates the centre of the arch and the true height of the gate.
• The tongue & groove boards used on the gate are smooth-planedtimber and are approx. 120mm wide and 12mm thick each, the boards are interlocked providing you with a smooth flat surface.
• Both gates are semi-braced framed using approximately 34mm x 70mm timber which has been smooth-planed.
  Horizontal frame bracing is top and bottom with a diagonal brace joining them together. Depending on the height and width an extra horizontal centre and diagonal bracing may be added to ensure you are provided with strong and sturdy gates.

  • Enough Black screws to install kit fully.

• Our wood products are all pressure treated using Tanalith E, green flecks may appear within the wood but will fade over time as the products weather.
• Please note: timber will always contract and expand in different weather conditions, some dimensional variation should be expected.
• We recommend not painting the products for up to 6-8 weeks to allow the treatment to completely dry.
